Great local spot for excellent espresso and awesome drinks including all the regulars and rotating specials. Fresh delicious pastries, great vibes. Not the biggest interior but it is accented beautifully with art and decorations that are tasteful and very easy on the eyes. Wonderful staff make it a must try in the neighborhood.
This place is a gem! The barista was so nice, helpful, and chill. We immediately felt at home. They have some great coffee roaster options (including Onyx and Intelligentsia’s exclusive new Geisha line). We opted for an oat milk matcha and it was one of the best we’ve had; lots of love went into serving us a high-quality drink. The cycling decor and vibe is just enough without feeling like overkill. Plus, the cycling store that’s connected looks rad! This is a great place to get your caffeine fix, whether you want to hang by their large windows and watch the street or grab a cup to go.
Cafe domestique serves some of the best espresso in town. Both the Northstreet location and the original have great cafe drinks— my go to is the iced vanilla latte! Space in this cafe is a little tight, so if you’re looking to hunker down and get some work done for a few hours this probably isn’t the right place, but i do love a quick stay to read a chapter or two of a book in their bright and airy space!
Excellent coffee and a deep understanding of how unexpected flavors work together. The ube latte is a masterpiece (Filipino yam and espresso, who would have thought?)
Cafe Domestique provided coffee for our wedding. They were very easy to communicate with leading up to the big day, and the coffee was excellent! Easily the best coffee and espresso in Madison. They pour an excellent shot and have a fantastic rotation of coffees for in house or to take home. Their attentiveness to sustainability with rewards for refillable containers and options to refill whole coffee beans is a bonus. And the staff is always great.
Loved it! Beautifully poured lattes, you even get to choose the beans for your espresso! They also sell some superb quality beans from onyx, jbc, and Sey. We’ll definitely be back if in Madison!
Super cute coffeeshop attached to a bike store. It’s small, but there’s still enough space for working. Service is fast and friendly. Lots of great drink options. I got the root beer float latte made with spechers- so good!!
